Spring in Oregon at Steelhead Run is many of the guest's favorite. The river begins to drop and the wild life returns.  The North Umpqua comes alive with bright colors and the fresh smells of spring.  The hills become lush with green grasses.  Waterfalls flow from the snow melt and the trees awake from their winter sleep, and the fields blossom with flowers.  The valley seems alive with beauty and new energy.

Go hiking and - or cycling on the trails and to the waterfalls.  Be sure to visit the 9 waterfalls on the National Scenic Byway 138. Take your digital camera and have  a photo discovery adventure. There is much to explore & discover.

Float the river, ride the rapids, put in right on the B&B's beach.  Fish are still active in the river. Drift fish from Glide's boat ramps to the Winchester Dam or  bank fish from the B&B.  The North Umpqua River offers white water rafting, cycling, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, fly fishing, bank fishing for recreation.
